Prague RuzynÄ› International Airport serves Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Located 10 km - 6 miles west of the city centre, the airport is a hub for Czech Airlines. Prague-RuzynÄ› is the biggest airport in the Czech Republic, and with 11.6 million passengers in 2009, the busiest one within the new EU member states. There is a direct bus service, the Airport Express AE. Buses of Prague Public Transit Company stop at both terminals.

Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, Prague has become one of Europe's (and the world's) most popular tourist destinations. It is the sixth most-visited European city. Prague suffered considerably less damage during World War II than some other major cities in the region, allowing most of its historic architecture to stay true to form. It contains one of the world's most pristine and varied collections of architecture, from Art Nouveau to Baroque, Renaissance, Cubist, Gothic, Neo-Classical and ultra-modern. Popular sights to visit include Prague Castle – the largest castle in the world - with St. Vitus cathedral; Old Town with its Old Town Square; and the Astronomical Clock (Orloj) on Old Town Square.
